The Department of American Culture and Literature, Baskent University, Ankara, Turkey, is pleased to announce its “International Henry James Conference,” which will be held on 9-10 May 2013, at Baskent University, Ankara, Turkey.
As a prolific writer of his time, Henry James’s writings cover a wide range of genres and modes that include fiction, drama, non-fiction, travel, criticism and letters, and today he remains a compelling literary presence for research, criticism, and film as well as stage adaptations. Therefore, it is expected that, during this two-day international conference, Henry James and his work will be addressed and discussed through multiple and interdisciplinary approaches, and the following topics among others may be suggested for papers:

200-word abstracts for 20-minute individual papers, written in single-space and Times New Roman font 12, are welcome together with a short biographical note, including institutional affiliation, address, e-mail, fax and telephone numbers.
